Characteristics of the production area

Altitude: 180 m asl
Soil type: Soil of marine origin, calcareous with a high presence of white sea shells that impart elegance and complexity to the wines.
Exposure: South and South west
Planting density: 5000 vine stocks/hectare
Training system: Guyot pruning
Average age of vineyards: 15 years


Winemaking and ageing

Yeld per hectare: 70 q /ha
Harvesting period: Second decade of September.
The whole cluster were gently pressed, the must will be clarified naturally by gravity and followed by fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 16C for 20 days. The wine remained on the fine lees for several months and was held in temperature-controlled tank until bottling.
